Crawf – Shallow-Draft Schottel Workboat
A manoeuvrable shallow-draft workboat with twin Schottel propulsion and practical deck capability for harbour towage, barge handling and nearshore construction support.
Crawf
Crawf is a Schottel Nato workboat built in 1970 and overhauled in 1995, designed for dependable service in shallow and restricted waters. Powered by a 250 bhp main engine driving twin Schottel units, she delivers a 2-tonne bollard pull and a 9-knot cruising speed. Her open working deck includes towing gear, winches, lifting points and full safety equipment, making her well suited to barge handling, construction support and harbour operations, with the added benefit of being fully road transportable.
Areas we service
Our vessels are available for hire across the UK, supporting marine projects on the Thames and London waterways, the South Coast and Medway, the Bristol Channel and ports throughout Devon and Cornwall. We regularly work across rivers, estuaries, harbours and coastal construction sites, with mobilisation to European locations also available for suitable projects.
